The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of parts made of agglomerated marble and similar materials. It was incorporated in July of 1975 and has its registered head office in the city of Real De Gandia in Spain. The company is considered as the leading Spanish business specializing in the manufacture and distribution of agglomerate marble products. It offers two products: technological marble and technological quartz, which are marketed under the brands MARMOL COMPAC and QUARTZ COMPAC, respectively. Product applications range from floors and walls, to stair treads, worktops, friezes, door, and window frames, columns, fireplaces and furniture. The company's production plants for MARMOL COMPAC (in Spain) and for QUARTZ COMPAC (in Portugal) respectively have a manufacturing area of 50,000 and 100,000 square metres (500,000 sqft and 1 million sqft), with an annual output capacity exceeding two and a half million square metres (27 million sqft).
